I was a little kid in those days and used to purposely connect to the internet when my older brothers were expecting calls from girls.

I remember playing quizzes on Teletext too. Bamboozle was one of my favourites. I'd forgotten about that. Imagine waiting for the page to turn 😁

In the early nineties our only access to the internet was through the University. They had some magic thing where you could log into their account. It blows my mind the think about it.

I started at uni in 2000 and we still had to go to the computer lab or library and queue for the 30-odd computers. It really is unimaginable now, eh?!
